Jurofungo – Teeth Whitening

I brush and floss daily, but my teeth are still yellowish. I can’t afford to get my teeth whitened by a dentist and I don’t want to use whitening strips because they haven’t helped before. I need suggestions on what I can possibly use instead and how do use it. Thank you!

Too much brushing and rigorous brushing can wear away your gums, and if you are a real hard brusher, you may wear abnormal amounts of enamel on your teeth down, over the course of your lifetime. talk to your dentist about the best way for you to whiten your teeth. i have crazy white teeth, and have never used white strips or whitening toothpaste.

1. avoid cofee and tea: if you do drink it, brush your teeth following it, or pretty soon after
2. don’t smoke: this really causes yellow teeth.
3. eat healthy
4. see your dentist every six months, or more often if you’re prone to cavities
5. brush between meals, or chew sugar free gum when toothbrushes aren’t available. brush twice a day for two minutes each time.
6. i use crest toothpaste and and oral B toothbrush. i also floss once daily.
7. SMILE!

I already have custom trays fitted for my teeth, but I am in search of a really good high-end gel ( not junk like crest whitestrips) I want my teeth to be hollywood white…like so white they are blinding!

I don’t have any suggestions for gels, but crest whitestrips premium are surprisingly effective! I did two rounds of whitening with them (10 days, waited 6 months, and then another ten days) and I am always getting comments and compliments about my teeth.

If you want something that will definitely work (ie. "Hollywood" white) without shelling out too much, I would suggest you see your dentist about Zoom whitening. It’s a quick, longlasting process that is super effective and costs around $500.

What is the best tooth whitening system that is available at most stores? I’m looking for something that’s under $40 and does the job fast.

Crest white strips are good, but they move around in the mouth so its not a great feeling… you can also switch your regular toothpaste to a whitening toothpaste (the brand does not matter) and your mouthwash to Rembrant Whitening rinse… but to get the whitening done in 45 minutes and not worry about trying millions of products and wasting your money trying them, I would recommend searching for ZOOM whitening specials, at our dental office we offer it for only $195 and its regularly $600 but its so00000 worth it!

I got my teeth bleached at my dentist. I do not drink coffee and I do not smoke. However, she said I should keep off colored foods/drinks (tea, red wine, chocolate, fruit) for a week, but it seems a little exaggerated. Can I eat strawberries?

you can eat anything anytime, but the sooner u eat things with a strong colour the more likely that your teeth will pick up the colour as they are more prone to straight after bleaching. if you do eat these things just try to brush after, or rinse around with water.
