From superheros like
spiderman, Disney
princesses, and photos of
real sports stars, they have
lots to choose from.

What we really liked
about this service is
that
they have a lot of
reviews from users,
including pictures from
people's rooms where
they've used the
grapihcs, so you get a
feel for what things
look like in a real
home, not just a staged
professional photo.
You can hear if there
were any
disappointments, as well
as get lots of great
stories about people's
reactions to the decals
when they first put them
up.
Also,
Fathead has a very good
collection of
professional sports
stars that looked like
they stepped out of the
field and into your room
- they are huge!
Their sports icons
dunking, passing,
kicking, etc. come from
a really broad array of
sports including NASCAR,
the NBA, and Soccer and
Hockey players. If
you are shopping for a
"man's space" like
the pool room, garage,
workout room, or beside
the big screen TV, this
site is probably going
to have a lot of the
types of products you
are interested in.
Overall, this is frankly
an astonishing
product.
The graphics are really
big and make an
incredible impact in
anyspace. (Try
Fathead Jr. if you need
something something
smaller.) You can even
take your own photo and
send it in to be
enlarged, die cut, and
sent back to you.

magazines, Roommates peel and stick
graphics are becoming increasingly
popular and well-known. They
feature many of the same items (Disney
characters and super heros) as found at
Fatheads.com, but with Roommates there
is more of an emphasis on interior
design. They even have articles
and videos to give you some ideas.
Roommates
has a couple cool items that that
Fatheads doesn't, such as wallpaper
border-style graphics, peel-and-stick
mirrors, and even write-on chalk boards
and white boards made out of decals.The
big shortcoming, though, is that they
simply DO NOT have any kind of selection
in large "lifesize" sports figures,
though. So if your guy, big or
little, is the shopper, this is not the
place. Roommates designs are more
girly and the site is overall more
targeted to women, I would say.
Many of their graphics are smaller size
decals that come in sets with 20
graphics based around a theme, rather
than 1 really big graphic that will make
a huge impact.
The
good news is that their prices are
reasonable and they have a good
selection of branded and non-branded
characters for kids rooms as well as
"designer" items for adult spaces and
customizable photos that can be enlarged
and printed on their decal material and
cut out just for you.
